  This is a tiny little spot opposite Kensal Rise station and it is wonderful!
  
  The staff are chatty, friendly and most important: quick.
  
  They are child and dog friendly which is great, depending how you feel about those things. They use Climpson and Sons coffee and I have never had a bad coffee there. It's a perfect place to stop for something quick before taking a walk to the Queens Park farmers market.
  
  I particularly love coming here for breakfast as it is a tiny menu : two things. Cheese toasties. They either have a basic cheese toastie or they have a cheese and bean toastie with worcester sauce and it really hits the spot! If you don't fancy something to big then it's great.
  
  If you're not opposed for sweets for breakfast I can also recommend the banana and honey loaf cake. I've had that a few times and it's delicious.

  Much like the café, this review will be simplistic! Coffee beans (available for purchase) are Climpson & Sons, and Alchemy though (unclear what this is used in). C&S are of Hackney café and roastery fame, and an up-n-comer on the London bean wholesaler scene.
  
  + Coffee quality is high, which it needs to be given the prices oscillate around £2.50-£3.20. Probably one of the better flat whites I've had. Latte art seems to be improving lately.
  
  + Beans are available whole or ground from £8.50 per 250g- and in fairness to the barista she split a kg bag to give me while beans. I use an Aeropress with a Porlex grinder, and the coffee is rich & smooth, but not hugely complex-not necessarily a bad thing.
  
  ? Haven't tried the food & pastries, as to be honest Minkies still seems the place for these. Will try and add another star if good.
  
  Pricey with room to improve, with somewhat friendly staff. Yet like their sign outside, they are the only place in Kensal Rise, arguably all Queens Park, that does 'proper coffee'.

  Lovely place for a good coffee. Very cozy interior with its little wooden tables, chairs and benches. Not that comfortable, but at least it keeps you awake on a Monday morning, no falling asleep because of comfy chairs ;-)
  
  I had a delicious mocha and some toasted banana bread. The mocha was perfect and so was the bread. The service was quick and the ladies behind the coffee machine were very nice.
  
  Perfect place to have some coffee on a drizzling Monday morning!

  Child and dog friendly - depending on your preference - this little cafe in Kensal Rise is a great spot for real, well made coffee.  
  
  Using Climpson & Sons beans in the drinks, there are still options for those not looking for a caffeine fix with healthy smoothies and a nice selection of teas. They offer both take away and the option to sit in should you be able to grab a seat at one of their cute wooden benches inside.

  I have often seen this little gem of a coffee shop huffing and puffing up Kensal Rise hill on a bike and been so relieved to finally freewheel down the other side it has taken a while to develop the thought to stop at the peak and reward my lactic-acid-filled thighs with caffeine instead. And so finally this I did, a what a charming idea it turned out to be!
  
  Really friendly staff working there and varied group of local clientele taking their weekend coffees and small treats such as home baked brownies, cookies, granola bars and other cakes. They also serve sandwiches and other lunch items. Nice rustic wooden furniture compliments the industrial design interior. Pleasant spot to do a bit of freelance work which obviously a few on macbooks were taking advantage of.
  
  Cable Co use Climpson & Sons beans and frothy coffees hover around the £2.50 mark. I did see advertised a couple of 'tasting' menus which give you a house brew, another coffee shot of something else and a cake or so. Could be a good option for the return visit.
